Why We Started
If you've ever stood in a pet store aisle holding two nearly identical products — one overpriced, one flimsy — and thought there has to be something better, you're not alone. That frustration is exactly what led to Loxi's Pets.
Over the years, we've been lucky enough to share our home and our hearts with some truly unforgettable animals. Cocoa, our sweet Cocker Spaniel. Zack, our loyal Doberman. Boots, our scruffy little Lhasa Apso. Peanut and Tupac, our spirited Chihuahuas. Tiger Lily, our gentle housecat. And Tonio, our black and white cat who still runs the house to this day.
Each of them taught us something. And one of the things they taught us is that pet parents will do just about anything for the animals they love — which makes it all the more frustrating when the products available just aren't good enough.
Our Story
Loxi's Pets didn't come out of a boardroom. It came out of years of being pet parents ourselves — of buying leashes that snapped after a month, bowls that tipped over constantly, and accessories that looked nothing like the photos online.
We named this brand in honor of all the pets who've been part of our story — from Cocoa and Zack, who were with us in the early days, to Boots, Peanut, and Tiger Lily, who left paw prints on our hearts that never faded. Today, Tonio and Tupac keep us company and remind us every single day why this brand exists.
We're not a massive retailer trying to sell everything to everyone. We're pet people, building something we believe in — and that makes all the difference.
Our Mission
Loxi's Pets exists to make life a little easier and a lot more fun for pet parents across the US.
